There was an excellent turnout at the 2023 4C HSE Marketplace Conference in Austin, Texas, last weekend. VIM has continually supported this event for many years and participated this year as a Bronze Sponsor and exhibitor. There were 400 attendees and over 40 sponsors. It was wonderful to see so many of our clients and customers in person at this exciting event.
The 4C HSE Marketplace Conference focuses on many essential topics in the industry around environmental compliance and HSE. Their mission is to promote the latest in emissions reduction technologies and share best practices for better environmental outcomes. This conference brings together industry professionals and experts from all over to network and discuss the leading topics in the world of environmental compliance and testing. There were several papers and technical presentations that afforded participants the chance to learn more about the current state of the industry and how things are proceeding. There was a strong focus on the critical nature of data transformation and data aggregation, including the new technologies that have come about.
VIM’s very own Eric Wiley, Senior Air Compliance Specialist with over 2 decades of air quality experience, presented a paper on “Common CEMS Program Audit Findings.” This presentation was well-attended by many conference participants. Eric discussed best practices complying with the specifics of Part 60 and Part 75 CEMS. Eric Wiley, and Lawrence Fisher, our Regional Sales Manager, were thrilled to meet with many existing VIM DAS users and connect with new customers to assist with their data reporting and Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) program auditing.
