CEMLink6 is incredibly useful for any organization that’s looking to collect and report on their emissions data. Track I of the 2019 VIM User Group is geared towards helping newer users understand everything from the user interface to reporting and regulations. Here are the classes that are available in Track I:
Orientation to a CEMLink6 DAS
If you’re a plant technician or environmental support staff responsible for CEMS/DAS systems, this class is for you! We’ll talk about the reasons you’ll need a standalone data acquisition system, then break down each component of the DAS build process. Each user interface we discuss will be from an introductory perspective.
Introduction to Report Building
Reporting is one of the most powerful features of CEMLink6, so this course will help you understand every part of report building and configuration. We’ll cover each type of report and how they’re organized. You’ll also learn how to auto-generate multiple reports at the same time, and how commonly used reports are configured.
QA Test Entry
This class will cover routine quality assurance test entry in the Compliance UI. You’ll learn how to conduct and add ongoing QA tests, including linearity audits, cylinder gas audits, opacity filter checks, PM absolute calibration audits, and more. You’ll also learn how to access additional information in the DAS to support a test program.
Part 60 Regulations Overview
Environmental support staff – this course is just for you! In this half-day class, you’ll get an overview of the general provisions, including monitoring, data validation, ongoing quality assurance, and reporting requirements.
CEMLink6 for Part 63 Subpart EEE
During this half-day, advanced course, you’ll learn about CEMLink6 implementation of 40CFR63 Subpart EEE, including fuel data entry and interlocks. We’ll detail the architecture and configuration required to satisfy Subpart EEE. You’ll find out how to add new fuel data samples, how to change limits for warning, cutoff, and exceedance alarms, and how to initiate interlock tests. To wrap up the course, we’ll review the components of the DAS necessary for compliance.
